Halogen Lamps

The lamp bulb is filled with halogen gas. When it emits light, the evaporated tungsten returns to the filament. This halogen cycle prevents blackening.
Halogen lamps are compact and characterized by high output and long service life. With our proprietary optical technology, we offer solutions that uniquely light up spaces to suit the purpose, including industrial applications.

Features of halogen lamps

Our halogen lamps have various features and are used in diverse fields as leading-edge light sources.

  1. Compact
    – The volume is just 1/30 or less that of general incandescent lamps. There are few restrictions in design including optical design. It is possible to design compact equipment that incorporates halogen lamps.
  2. High efficiency and high output
    – In addition to the halogen cycle, quartz glass is used for the bulb. High light output can be achieved from a small space and with high efficiency.
  3. Long service life
    – The halogen cycle extends the service life from double to quadruple that of general incandescent lamps.
  4. Accurate control of light distribution
    – The light distribution can be accurately controlled, achieving effective illuminance./li>
  5. Constant brightness
    – The halogen cycle prevents blackening of the inner surface of the bulb and wear of the filament, thus maintaining the brightness and color temperature until the end of the service life.

  • The halogen lamp is compact and highly efficient.
  • This is the most popular halogen lamp. The lighting fixtures for both caps can be installed in a small space, and the lamp is easy to handle.
